Remember when you were a kid and you would go to the playground at your school or a park near your home? There was the jungle gym and a few slides. Those were cool. But for you, it was all about one thing: the swings!
You couldn't wait to get on the swings and just go! It was a fight to see who could get there first. You'd get in the seat. Put your hands on the chains. And off you went! But nothing happened.
Why? When you were really small, you probably needed a push. But as you got a bit older, you learned how to swing. How to build up your momentum. You built your momentum by pumping your legs.
Back and forth. Back and forth. Pumping your legs until you were high in the air! To you, it felt like you were flying! And some of you did fly, because you catch mad air and then jump right out of your swing! Derring-do was right up your alley!
But to get there, you had to really pump your legs. A lot. And then a lot more. That's what swinging was / is all about.
What are you swinging for? More business? A better life? A better job? More time with your kids?
Whatever it is, you won't get it if you don't pump your legs. Remember, when you're swinging, although pumping your legs is a lot of work, it's also a lot fun to reach new heights. You're willing to put the work in because of it.
So keep swinging. Keep pumping your legs. And watch how high you'll go!
